DIVA GROUP established its first showroom in the West Hollywood district of Los Angeles County in 1985. Originally conceptualized as a space specializing solely in lighting, the showroom quickly evolved into the premier destination for contemporary furnishings from the finest manufacturers in Europe, including B&B Italia, Maxalto, Cassina, Kartell, and Flos. By 2001 DIVA GROUP began looking to expand its market, specifically in a partnership with B&B Italia. Settling in the Pacific Northwest, the collaboration produced not only a second DIVA showroom in Seattle, but the only other B&B Italia flagship showroom in the United States outside of New York City. The Seattle showroom, designed by Antonio Citterio, a legend of modern Italian contemporary furniture design, became the perfect setting to showcase the ever-evolving lifestyle campaigns of the B&B Italia & Maxalto furniture lines. The Seattle showroom, now in its 15th year, has since become the premier destination for the best in Italian design and has its design roots firmly planted in the culture of the city of Seattle.
