Indian Farming Digest
(e-magazine/e-newsletter)
Scope:
The Indian Farming Digest is an open access monthly e-magazine/e-newsletter, was proposed and inaugurated in the month of May 2022 and has started disseminating message to the farming community since July 2022; publishes all types of popular articles, review articles, research paper, case study, success story, etc., dealing with Agriculture/ Animal science/ Fishery/ Horticulture/ Agroforestry/ etc. It will disseminate the all types of latest and scientific information related to agriculture and allied activities. The article publication charge (APC) requested from the authors are for maintenance of website, cost of design, official record maintenance cost, and other miscellaneous expenditure. The magazine is a author friendly document which allows authors free PDFs of published article, discounts on publication and short publishing time preferably within fortnight. AUTHOR GUIDLINES
- 1. Articles of practical field experiences will be preferred for early consideration and publication. Very unique article with a suitable unique title will attract certificate award to the authors (Best article award, author of the year award, etc.). The Editorial Board is responsible for the final decision as per the editorial policy of the e-magazine/e-newsletter.
- 2. Article must be submitted as per format and guidelines of the e-magazine/e-newsletter.
- 3. Author/authors must provide their full names along with the corresponding addresses and e-mail.
- 4. Authors must include 2-5 photos, relevant to the article, providing suitable captions. Also provide photo credits, wherever applicable.
- 5. Article should be in Times New Roman with font size 12, well written covering all the headings viz., Abstract (250 words) with keywords (4-5), Introduction followed by supporting information; and ended with a Conclusion (4-5 sentences).
- 6. Proper acknowledgement should be done for all sources and references cited.
- 7. Abbreviations used should properly be explained in the articles.
- 8. Article should be plagiarism free. The author will be responsible for plagiarism, if any.
- 9. Article size is limited to minimum of one page to maximum of 4 pages.
- 10. Article should not be published elsewhere or sent for publication in any magazine/journal.
- 11. Tables, figures and good quality photographs are always desirable.
- 12. Best Photographs will be selected for cover page of the e-magazine/e-newsletter and will be awarded with the “Best Photograph Certificate” for the month. Authors are also requested to send the original photos in JPEG format along with the article submission.
- 13. Authors must agree to the guidelines, terms and conditions of the magazine.
- 14. Once submitted corrected article with authors name, cannot be changed for further editing.
- 15. The use of units of measurement, symbols and standard abbreviations should be as per recommendation and recognition by the International Union of Biochemistry (IUB) and the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC).
- 16. Articles should only be submitted as a soft copy in Microsoft Word format (MS word). Hard copy of article will not be accepted.
- 17. Authors should submit article in official mail ID (indianfarmingdigest@gmail.com) of the e-magazine/e-newsletter along with the receipt of the payment (Payment may be done using bank details or through QR code using Google pay, Phone pay, Paytm, etc.).
- 18. Upon request, authors would be given an advance copy of their article within seven working days.
- 19. The editors reserve the right to decide whether or not to publish an article or contribution, after receipt of the first full draft. Articles that are accepted will be reviewed/ edited as per the format and style of the e-magazine/ e-newsletter (Indian Farming Digest) and shortened if necessary.
- 20. Reference Style: For journals: names of all the authors (surnames followed by initials), year, article title, name of periodical (abbreviation is allowed for foreign titles), volume number, issue number (in brackets), and range of pages.
